Helping you choose, arrange and lead the funeral tribute you want.
Being able to be given the opportunity to conduct a funeral service on behalf of you and your family is something I consider to be a real privilege. Together we will create a memorable and sincere funeral tribute for the person who has died.
As your funeral celebrant, I am open to any tribute you wish for your loved one – anywhere between a non-religious ceremony, to one with religious elements, such as prayers or hymns. I am open to any ideas or suggestions you may have: readings, poems, music or songs, spiritual choices and symbolic gestures, all can be discussed in depth and crafted to the way that you want.
The funeral tribute, ceremony or memorial that you wish to have can take place in your home, in a field, at a crematorium, a green burial site, a funeral director’s chapel of rest, the grave side or at a venue that you have chosen. I will always honour your wishes to make the funeral as bespoke and personal for you and your family.
However, if you would rather leave it to me to choose all the elements of the funeral tribute, then that is also perfectly fine. You can decide how much you want to be involved, and I will support you all the way with suggestions, resources and practical advice. I will tailor the tribute exactly as you want it to be.
I also understand that relationships can sometimes be complex and that life events are not always straight-forward. Whatever the circumstances surrounding the events of the death, you can be assured that I will sensitively craft a bespoke ceremony that truly reflects the person who has died in the way that you want it to do.
Throughout, I will liaise with you regarding all aspects of the funeral tribute and any requests you may have. I will also send you the full ceremony text for you to check over so that the tribute is exactly as you want it.
You can contact me at any time if you need to talk things over, or if you have any further queries, thoughts or concerns about the service. I will support you every step of the way. After the funeral, I also present you with a personal copy of the ceremony script to keep as a cherished memorial.

A civil funeral is one that is ‘driven by the wishes, beliefs and values of the deceased and their family, not by the beliefs and ideology of the person conducting the funeral.’
